Thornfoot padded over to the Moonpool. She was not a Med. cat or reciving her nine lives. But she HAD to speak with StarClan. She sat down and drank from the icy pool. When she opened her eyes, she was still staring at the Moonpool.
"I guess StarClan don't want me." She sighed.
"You're right." Said a voice. Thornfoot sat up. There were two she-cats standing in front of her. Instead of stars, shadows surronded their pelts.
"Who are you?" Thornfoot asked.
"Look into the pool." Said the she-cats, "You will see you fate."
Thornfoot stared at the pool. She could see herself, along with her ,leader, Robinstar, and her brother, Owlfur. They were shrieking in victory as enemy warriors bounded away. Owlfur walked into his den. As Robinstar congatulated her, Thornfoot watched herself jump onto her leaders shoulders, pinning her to the ground. A painful shreech was broke off as Robinstar's neck snapped in two. The sickening crunch took all of her nine lives. Owlfur ran out and saw what had happened. With a howl of rage, he lunched himself at his sister. Thornfoot watched herself jump onto Owlfur and bite down hard on his neck. Suddenly, he went limp. As he fell to the ground, she yowled in victory. Then the picture vanished.
"N...No..." Choked Thornfoot.
"You can't change it." Said the she-cats. "It is your fate." Then the vanished.
"Nooo!" wailed Thornfoot as she ran back to the Windclan camp.
"It can't be true!"
